What are Softshell Fabrics?
Softshell fabrics have been developed for jackets and body warmers. This quality is a laminated (glued) fabric with a thin fleece on one side and a water-repellent synthetic fabric on the other side in both uni and prints, ideal for rain jackets or to wear during the autumn/winter season.
Features of Softshell
Softshell is breathable, water-repellent and windproof. The important properties of Softshell are:- Softshell fabric consists of two or more closely woven layers of synthetic fibers impregnated on the outside.
- Softshell fabrics are windproof, breathable and water-repellent and therefore ideal for the transitional season because of their warming properties.
- The fabric is soft, but at the same time dense, sturdy and comfortable to wear.
Machine wash the softshell fabric, but not too often to maintain the impregnation. The material is suitable for the dryer and can be ironed at low temperatures (maximum 110°C).
