Christine ist Schneiderin und Schnitttesterin. @stienmakes stellt Stoffkreationen her, seit sie 6 ist! Sie begann einmal, aus Stoffresten eines kreativen Nachbarn Kleider für Barbies herzustellen. Sie begann durch ihren Nachbarn und erhielt mehrere Unterrichtsstunden.
Christine fand es schon in der Schule cool, wenn sie sagen konnte, dass sie etwas selbst gemacht hatte und zum Abitur bekam sie dann ihre erste Nähmaschine!
Sie arbeitet also jetzt seit 54 Jahren!

Arielle shirt
Een paar weken geleden begon mijn ontdekkingstocht op mijn nieuwe lock/coverlock combinatie machine. De B68 maker. Van dit schattige stofje maakte ik het Arielle shirt van fibremood. Het heeft leuke pofmouwen. En de borden kun ik gewoon met m'n lockmachine aanzetten, omdat deze machine een vrije arm heeft😱

Om de perfecte pasvorm te krijgen naai ik eerst de voorkant met zakken en gulp. Daarna zet ik met de grootste steek (6) de broek in elkaar en trek hem binnenstebuiten aan. Daar waar nodig kun je met spelden nog aanpassingen maken.Vervolgens haal ik de grote rijgsteken weer uit om de zijnaden te kunnen topstitchen. Nog 1x passen om de lengte te bepalen en shinen maar!!!

Because it's such a fun pattern.
This fabric is so soft and perfect for summer shirts. I added some small shoulder pads (thrifted), which gives the top some more fun.

In fact, it turned out so good that I made the blue one, I showed a few days ago.Some people may say it looks like pyjamas and yes, that's how it feels. But I love how the thin fabric flows in the wind. Lekker wapperen! Is how we say it in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 The fabric is a viscose from @nooteboomtextiles

There is another new pattern from Bel'etoile and what a one. A lovely lounge wear set with all sorts of variation possibilities. Short, long, and even possible with a skirt. HEIDI PANTS
The heidpants from Sewing masin have been on my to sew list for a long time.
I made one for myself and my daughter Annemarie. Hers is quilted with ochre yellow, mine is quilted with white thread.
Bonus: taking pictures together with your beautiful adult daughter.

Just in time for our King's birthday party. I never wear orange, but this fabric has orange with pink flowers, and I loved it at first sight. It's a double gauze from @nooteboomtextiles

I made this lovely shirt from knipmode before. Now again with a lovely airy knitted fabric from @nooteboomtextiles. In lila and lime 💜💚
Combined with my new favourite trousers.
For the sleeves I used the selvedge of the fabric. I didn't have to finish it and the dark colour fits beautifully with the whole.

After seeing so many beautiful 👖 in this pattern, I decided to make one myself. And boy I'm so happy with the fit.
Theatrical is a beautiful two toned denim from@nooteboomtextiles, and I'm wearing it together with my favourite new #fibremoodlulublouse.
ELLIE
Doesn't everyone has a friend or familie member named Ellie? I made the Ellie jeans in a lovely denim from @nooteboomtextiles. It has a fuchsia inside and that's perfect for this pattern which has the folded hem to show the inside of your jeans.The backpocket has a rose in the same shade of fuchsia that I love so much. Ofcourse I i topstitched everything in the same colour as the lining. I made size 40 and graded to 42 for the waist. The fit is perfect this way.
