A few weeks ago I saw @ama_lianne_sewingwearing a great pair of pants and I knew that was the pattern I needed!
@ready_to_sew Emile Pants. At the same time I saw this Lilac linen viscose blend and a lovely seersucker in pink and blue at @nooteboomtextiles.
And as always I'm a sucker for seersucker so a match was made. The Blouse is @fibremood Pants @bernina.benelux.

It’s a sabbath day which means I get to go to church.
Today I chose one of my favorite dresses as I really wanted something light and breezy for a really warm day.
I chose my by @bygraciesteel and paired it with this fantastic leather bag I thrifted! After church I decided to make a stew I was crazing and changed to my favorite chilling pants (one of the first I have ever made) and paired it with this workout top thing I’ve had for a while.
The pants pattern are the @common_stitch ear that is listed on @peppermintmagazineTogether the perfect sabbath looks ✨

En dus maken we die gewoon zelf!
Deze stof van @nooteboomtextiles is er perfect voor.
En met mijn b64 en b62 bernette lock- en coverlock machines en matchend Seracor garen van @mettler_thread heb je super snel een tof en trendy shirt voor jezelf gemaakt.
Het patroon is gratis, de stellan tee van @frenchnavynow_

🌸 Een setje voor elke dag 🌸
Ik combineerde een eenvoudig rimpel rokje in katoen met een shirtje in dezelfde kleiroze kleur als het bloemetje van het rokje.
Twee eenvoudige patronen voor een fijne en lente-proof outfit!

Ik maakte de schulprand onderaan het rokje met een steek op mijn @bernina.benelux naaimachine.

You know?
when you see a piece of fabric and can just instantly see the final garment? That was me with this fabric. I saw it in the online preview of the new collection from @nooteboomtextiles and just knew it was gonna be a reversible jacket.
The fabric is so nice and soft and feels good against the skin. As spring is fast approaching I think this will make a great light jacket in a colour that I am most obsessed with at the moment.
For my pattern I am using a new (to me) designer@ohmeohmysewing. I used their Sage pattern which comes with a lot of options I am really eager to try out. I made the jacket option and omitted the ties as closures as I really want this to be a simple throw on and go jacket. The pattern was fantastic! Really clear and developed really well!
The fit is also perfect! I think I’ll make the vest version next 😆

to basics After a looong break, I’m slowly picking up my fabric scissors and sewing again.
For my first sewing project of the year, I made the@paradisepatterns #pineraglan with this lovely jogging fabric from @nooteboomtextiles.
When I saw the colour, I knew it would be a great colour to compliment my skin tone. And I think I was right, it’s a really beautiful vibrant shade of red.
The sweater was also a delight to make. 4 pattern pieces for the body and it was done in one hour. The perfect palette cleanser. I would love to make one In yellow and one in black too. Time will tell

I've been wanting to make Viki's Bailey jumpsuit for so long and now I can't figure out why I waited all this time.
I used a nice thick corduroy from @nooteboomtextiles in teal and I'm in love. All the zippers were installed with the help of my Bernina and special zipper guidingfoot. Soon on the Berninablog.
