WHAT IS LENZING™ ECOVERO™ VISCOSE?

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibers are the new standard in eco-responsible viscose. These fibers are derived from certified renewable wood sources using an eco-responsible production process which meets high environmental standards. The viscose fibers are tailored to a sustainable lifestyle, contributing to a cleaner environment.
The manufacturing of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibers generates up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose.
According to Higg MSITM tools, CO2 emissions and fossil resource use are approximately half that of the industry average.

The goal of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibers is to give you confidence that your fashion choices are environmentally responsible and have a low environmental impact. The viscose fibers are derived from sustainable wood and pulp, coming from certified and controlled sources. LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose fibers have been certified with the EU Ecolabel for textile products (license no. AT/016/001) as meeting high environmental standards throughout their life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and disposal.
Lenzing’s wood sourcing policies for Viscose production are audited annually for their contribution to forest conservation, transparency, and commitment to sustainability. The introduction of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ is a major step towards these goals.
